The public is invited to two public forums to hear from U.S. Senate Texas candidates. Each forum will be a 1-hour discussion.

The Democratic Forum will be presented on Thursday, March 8. The forum will be moderated by Bill McKenzie, a senior journalist with the Dallas Morning News.

The Republican Forum will be presented on Thursday, March 15. The forum will be moderated by Gromer Jeffers, political columnist with the Dallas Morning News.

All candidates who have filed a primary ballot have been invited to participate.

Each forum will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. at the Pavilion at the Belo Mansion, 2101 Ross Avenue in downtown Dallas (garage parking available; enter from Olive Street). The event is free.  A cash bar is available at 5:30 – 6:00.

Sponsored by the Public Forum Committee of the Dallas Bar Association, the programs are intended to educate the Dallas legal community and public of the backgrounds and philosophies of the candidates. The Dallas Bar Association is a non-partisan organization.

Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to sevans@dallasbar.org so adequate seating is available.

The Dallas Bar Association is a professional, voluntary organization of more than 10,000 Dallas-area attorneys. Find out more at www.dallasbar.org.
